About Janie info
I started my Photography A Work of Art by Janie Turnamian, business in Greensboro, NC in 1998. I specialize in children and family portraits. Since then, I have expanded into unique school portraits, sports, events, business professionals, commercial products, weddings, pets, and beach portraits including Wilmington, NC.
I'm involved in our local community by volunteering my time and talent to local churches, schools and charities.
As a mother of two daughters, and being a child at heart, I can relate to children and capture their innocence and spirit. I am known for being able to bring out even the shyest child's personality.
My home studio is equipped with many backgrounds and props. I can take my studio equipment and backgrounds to any location. The majority of my clients like to do environmental sessions were we go to local parks, downtown, or your home to take portraits. I have an antique wooden barn which makes an excellent backdrop for children and adults in jeans or overalls.
I believe in having fun during the photo session and spending the time needed to capture everyone's unique personalities. I have a passion for photography. I love what I do and it shows through the beautiful portraits that my clients and I create together.
